Duchesse de Nemours:

Double, Mid season. A smaller flower than some, but its glorious fragrance makes up for lack of size. White guard petals and a lemon/lime centre. Leaves are light green and after three years you can expect about 20 stems per plant.

Edulis Superba:

Bright pink bomb, with pink gaurd petals and pink and white mixed petalloids in the centre of the bomb. Very fragrant. Older variety not widely grown.

Elsa Sass:

Full, compact rose shaped, velvety white double blooms on stiff upright stems. Excellent cut flower. APS gold medal winner. Double. White. Late.

Etched Salmon:

This tall vigorous plant has huge bright scarlet flowers and is just the red that everyone is looking for. Double. Mid season.

Honey Gold:

Double, Mid Season. A beautiful bud and flower. In some areas it opens blush before fading to white.

James Pillow:

Rose pink double. Flower has yellow staminodes visible at times but is still a full double. Highly scented. Tall

Maestro:

Double, Mid season. The ultimate in paeonies. Can’t be beaten for colour, health and strength.

Omeo Snow:

Double, Early-Mid Season. Pure white double with no yellow or red speckles as so many whites have. Good cut flower on strong wiry stems.

Orlando Roberts:

Double, Mid Season. A deep chocolate red on tall straight stalks. An unusual and striking colour.

Paul M Wild:

Tall reliable late bloomer that fetches good prices on the Christmas market. Double with large flowers of rich dark cherry red.

Soft cameo/pink petals open to form a lovely large bloom ideal for the cut flower grower. Strong stems. Healthy, rich foliage. Double. Pink. Mid season. 85cm. Fragrant. Cut flower

Pink Hawaiian Coral:

A coral which fades to a soft pink. Always admired for its upright stature as well as the cup shaped blooms. Excellent cut flower. Double. Coral. Early. 92cm

Pink Lemonade:

Bomb, Late. Tall, sturdy plant with huge rose pink flowers. The guard petals are pink and the centre pink and yellow.

President Taft:

Very large flowers which have fluffy rose pink petals, notched and silvery at the tips and an occasional crimson fleck in the centre of the bloom. Strong stems and good clean foliage. Double. Pink. Late. Cut flower

Red Charm:

The best early red and very popular as a cut flower. The true, rich red bomb shaped flower. Sturdy strong stems. Double. Red. Early.

Red Grace:

Hybrid red, similar to Red Charm but without obvious guard petals. Buds are open-topped and care must be taken to pick it at the correct stage. Slightly taller plant than Red Charm. Bomb. Early.

Sarah Bernhardt:

Shell pink, paling on maturity. Occasionally there are red flecks on the petals, strong stems and good foliage. Good cut flower, floriferous. Double. Pink. Midseason-Late. Cut flower

Shawnee Chief:

Double, Mid-Late. Moderate sized flowers with incurving petals. Dries well.

Shirley Temple:

Double, Mid season. Flowers open pale pink and fade to pure white. In a cool season they stay pinker than in a warm one. An attractive plant – every garden should have one.

The Mighty Mo:

Velvety rich red, medium sized double blooms with small stamens at times showing through the petals. As a cut flower it last well. When picked in bud and opened indoors the “blueness” is not so apparent once fully opened. A tall floriferous plant on wiry stems. Semi-Double-Double. Red. Midseason. 90cm.

Bright lavender pink full double with delicious rose fragrance. Late.
